Fidel Castro has announced that he will resign as president of Cuba. I think this is interesting news and I wonder how this will play out. I hope that the Cuban people will get a chance to elect a leader of their own, but I think it’s more likely that Fidel’s brother Raúl will become president as he has been acting as such since Fidel’s health troubles.
