Yesterday was Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Release day at the Apple Store, and I convinced some friends to go with me to the Apple Store and wait with me in line. I wasn’t going to be buying Leopard because 1) My 1st gen Mac mini isn’t really up to specs to run it, and 2) Neither is my bank account! But it was an experience. It was my first time waiting in a line at the Apple Store. The employees even had a cart full of bottled water to make sure no one passed out from thirst while in the line. In total, I would say that I was in line for probably 30-40 minutes, but not only did I get to demo Leopard on the in-store computers, but I scored my free Release Day T-shirt!
